Shutter speed is the amount of time that the light is allowed in the camera to capture an the action/image. Fast shutter speed would capture a fast action (such as jumping) and a slow shutter speed would capture the movement of writing (with light to write words) |

What is ISO?
ISO is the sensitivity to light. The lower the number is the less sensitive the camera is to the light and the finer the grain, but the higher the number the more sensitive the camera gets which is why a high ISO is typically used in darker spaces.
